With this project, my intention was to highlight the profound darkness, grittiness, and grave nature of the subject matter explored in the book. To achieve this, I deliberately opted for a black and white colour scheme, to serve as a visual representation of the stark realities depicted within the pages. The strategic use of splashes of red throughout the design adds a striking contrast and symbolic significance, underscoring the intensity and bloodshed often associated with these stories. Additionally, by having all images in grayscale, I aimed to accentuate the somber and haunting ambiance that exists within the narratives. Through these deliberate design choices, I sought to create an aesthetic that resonates with the readers, immersing them into the dark depths of the pro wrestling industry's disturbing stories.
